Research Area: My research interest focuses on the synthesis of ligands (redox innocence and non-innocence) and their metal complexes, characterization of complexes by spectroscopic techniques and X-ray crystallography, study of physical and chemical properties and search for applications e.g. catecholase activity, DNA cleavage activity, C-H oxidation catalysis, transfer hydrogenation and so on. Completed project: Start-up research grant for Young Scientist by SERB, DST (project no. YSS/2015/000304/CS) Research collaborator: Dr. Ujjwal Mandal, Asst.
